      <div class="code panel" [...]>

      It'd be nice to be able to either not include the panel class with divs generated by the code macro or at least swap the order they are applied. Having panel styles applied to code blocks is extremely annoying as we have customized panel appearance.

      I logged a support ticket and got the following response "The panel style has been included to provide scrollbars for the code snippets." I fail to see how you can't just include the overflow in the code class.
