Provide admins with macro plugin usage statistics so that it can help them identify popular macros and remove macros which aren't used

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

It will be useful if there is macro/plugin that can list the installed plugins within the pages/spaces. Additionally, it can show whether a plugin is being used or not in any pages across the entire wiki. This can be a summary report which is similar to the Space Activity that states the plugins usage in Confluence.

It will be really helpful if you provide this functionality in order to find out unused plugins and highly used ones.

An easy way to determine what add-ons/macros are actually in use across Confluence instance.
I invite you to try this new add-on Macro usage for Confluence

This would really help, over the years we have plugin's installed that are no longer used but I have no way to audit or verify activity.

We need this to be able to know if we should continue using / paying for plug-ins that are not being used or if the plug-in is being used by one team to be able to charge that budget for the renewal of the license of the plug-in.

This would also be extremely useful for our installation. With hundreds of spaces and thousands of users, it's currently very difficult to know what's being used where.

We have many plugins enabled for confluence. We would like to know if there is any way to determine

            1) what plugins are actually in use on our Confluence instance e.g. is plugin x used anywhere on our site.
            2) how much certain plugins are used across our site e.g. plugin x is used on 20 pages etc.

This could be an administration feature only.

            Thank you very much,

            Helen
