      Issue Summary

      When editing a date range to repeating it removes the current event.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a date range event that the current date is within
      2. Edit it so it repeats monthly every x months (tested with 6)
      3. Save the event

      Expected Results

      The current event persists.

      Actual Results

      The current date range event is removed.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
