I have a space restricted to only 1 group. I now want to invite specific users outside of the group (also internal people/colleagues) to specific folders in the space (if that's not possible: specific pages). When I add the users outside of the group to a folder or page, I have to grant them access to the full space.
The only workaround I see is: I have to go through the full space and restrict every single page one by one. And then invite the initial group to each page to have editing rights. And then for the specific folders/pages I do like to share outside of the group, add the group as well as the outside people to it.
But that means I have to go to every single page and restrict it. Is there a way to do it the other way around? I don't see the purpose of a restricted space like this, as there are many instances where you just should be able to just invite / give access to people to a specific page.
Request: be able to set space restrictions while ability to invite specific users to just 1 page or folder in a (restricted) space. Let's take HR as an example. Set up HR space. Invite user group HR Confidential to the space. Full space / every page is restricted by default. Then, 1 page with a proposal on new benefits should be shared with 1 person (user A) outside of HR confidential group. You just click the lock, share with user A. User A only has access to the proposal page and not to the rest.
