Issue Summary
When editing is restricted on a space home page, re-ordering immediate child pages is not possible for a non-admin user. But it can be done using the move option.
Steps to Reproduce
- Download and install Confluence 9.2.7
- Create a space and a few pages under it
- Apply edit restriction on Space home page
- Create one more user and give all permissions for that space except export and admin permissions.
- Go to space home page.
- Click on three dots on the top right corner > Click on the View in hierarchy option.
- Try to reorder the immediate child pages
Expected Results
Page should be reordered
Actual Results
Page reordering is not possible
Workaround
We can use the Move option to move the pages
NOTE: The behaviour is not only replicable when space home is ineditable but if we make any page uneditable, the page and its direct children will be unable to reorder via the "Reorder pages" in space tools.
