Issue Summary
Recent changes in the pages don't show up on the top of the RSS feed reader, and one has to scroll down below to see that the page was updated. Also, that update date shows up when the page was first published.
Steps to Reproduce
- Edit an old page from a few months back.
- Create an RSS feed.
- Configure the RSS Feed link to the RSS feed reader
- Make an update to the page.
Expected Results
The RSS feed reader should show a notification about the recent changes on the page.
Actual Results
The notification of page update is shown, but one has to scroll down to the time when the page was first published.
The behaviour is shown in the attached video.

Additional Notes:
This works as expected when a comment or an attachment is added to the page.
- When the page is edited, the RSS feed metadata shows the published date (when the page was first published) and the updated date (when the page was last edited).
- However, when adding attachments and comments, the published and updated dates are the same, which is the date when the attachments or comments are added.
- It appears that the Atom reader will show the RSS feeds according to the published date, which is why one has to scroll down to see the notification for the page edit action.
Solution: For page edit as well, the published and updated date should be the same.
Workaround
Use the recently updated macro in Confluence pages. But one has to open the Confluence page for that.
