Issue Summary
When using the mouse pointer to click the empty space beside the table, the text cursor jumps up on the page.
We currently only observe the issue on Google Chrome. The same behavior does not occur in Firefox and Safari.
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new Confluence page.
- Enter several line that makes the page scrollable.
- Enter a table at the bottom of the page.
- In edit mode, use the mouse pointer to click the empty space beside the table and observe the text cursor jump up on the page.
Expected Results
The text cursor should be in the same line where the mouse pointer is clicked.
Actual Results
The text cursor jumps where the mouse pointer is clicked.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior on Google Chrome. A workaround will be added here when available.
