Issue Summary
Non-admin users are unable to create a new space from a template if the Confluence DC instance is connected to Rovo
Steps to Reproduce
Pre-requirements: Confluence DC instance has to have active connection with Rovo
- Log in as non-admin user, who has permissions to create spaces
- In the top navigation panel, press "Spaces" drop down and select "Create space" option
- In the "Create space" pop up, select "Knowledge base" option and follow the prompts
Other affected space-related operations:
- editing space name/description
- archiving/un-archaving space
- space copy
Expected Results
New space is created
Actual Results
Error message is shown
The below exception is thrown in the xxxxxxx.log file:
You do not have permission to perform this operation com.atlassian.confluence.internal.api.security.impl.SpaceFilteringServiceImpl.validateAdminOrRequiredScope(SpaceFilteringServiceImpl.java:201) com.atlassian.confluence.internal.api.security.impl.SpaceFilteringServiceImpl.isExcluded(SpaceFilteringServiceImpl.java:85)
Workaround
Disable all Rovo subscriptions, or ask an administrator user to create the space
