Issue Summary
Since Confluence 9.1, the new URL format follows this structure:
https://confluence.example.com/spaces/SPACEKEY/pages/pageID/Page+Title
When the page title contains the space character, the deleted page will not be able to show the page "has been deleted" with the trashcan image. ![]()
If the page title doesn't contain the space character, the deleted page will show the page "has been deleted" with the trashcan image. ![]()
Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Confluence 9.2.5.
- Create a page.
- Ensure the URL format can access the page
- Delete the page.
- Check the same URL to observe the result.

Expected Results
It is expected to be able to show the page "has been deleted" with the trashcan image as below:

Actual Results
Instead of showing the page "has been deleted", the deleted page shows "Page Not Found" as below:

Workaround
If we remove the page title from the URL, the page "has been deleted" with the trashcan image can be displayed correctly.
