If I want to attach videos to a Confluence page, I'm forced to manually create thumbnails, attach them as well, and then work in Wiki markup mode in order to provide a an image-with-link-to-video object (can't do that in the rich text editor). A task that for an image takes 5 secs takes 2-5mins for a video.
If .wmv / .mpeg / .avi / .mov files were natively supported by JIRA workflow would be greatly improved. If automatically creating a thumbnail image is too complicated, at least having a built-in ability to specify a thumbnail image when attaching a video object and having the "image attach" functionality support thumnailed videos, would go a long way.
