Issue Summary
In the Task Report macro, sorting by due date only works for the initial ascending display. Clicking the "Due Date" column header does not sort tasks by due date, and enabling "Reverse sort" with "Sort by: Due date" has no effect.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page with several tasks that have different due dates (e.g. Sep 3, Oct 2, Oct 20, Oct 22).
- On another page, insert a Task Report macro that includes these tasks (Sort by: Due date) and publish. (Sort by: Due date, Reverse sort: off)
- In view mode, click the "Due Date" column header once, then click it again.
- Edit the macro, turn on "Reverse sort", and publish again.
Expected Results
Step 3: Tasks are sorted by due date in ascending/descending order, following the arrow direction.
Step 4: Tasks are shown in descending due date order.
Actual Results
- Step 3: The arrow direction changes, and the order changes too, but the tasks are not sorted by due date (e.g. Oct 2, Oct 20, Sep 3, Oct 22).
- Step 4: The order is the same as with "Reverse sort" off (ascending by due date: Sep 3, Oct 2, Oct 20, Oct 22).
- This occurs for both complete and incomplete tasks.
...
Workaround
For ascending order, set "Sort by" to "Due date" in the macro settings and do not click the column header. There is currently no known workaround for descending order.
