- In the header section, navigate to and expand the “Create” button, then activate the “Page” link.

- Using a screen reader, press the arrow keys to navigate through the Editor and access the added cards.
- Observe that the card content is not announced by the screen reader.
Screen Recording
Actual Results
When a user types “/cards” and inserts the Cards macro in the editor, a set of cards is added to the content. However, when a screen reader user navigates through the editor using the arrow keys, the screen reader does not announce the information contained within the cards and instead reads the card region as blank.
The same issue occurs with cards that are already present in the editor. When screen reader users navigate to these existing cards using the arrow keys, the content within the cards is not conveyed or announced by the screen reader.
As a result, screen reader users are unable to access or understand the content within the cards, whether the cards are already present in the editor or newly added using the Cards macro. They are also unable to determine the presence and availability of the cards within the editor, resulting in an inaccessible editing experience.
Expected Results
The screen reader should announce the presence and content of all cards in the editor, including both existing and newly added cards.
Apply the following changes:
- Ensure that the content of all cards is programmatically accessible and announced by screen readers.
- Ensure that screen reader users can navigate to each card and access its relevant content without encountering a blank region.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
