Issue Summary

Excel (.xlsx) attachments migrated from Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud render differently on the production destination site:

• Edit mode: Compact attachment links with Excel icon and filename.
• Published/view mode: Oversized gray file-preview cards.
• In narrow table cells, preview cards can overflow and disrupt the table layout.
• Files remain accessible.
• The issue was not observed after the test migration.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Migrate a Confluence Data Center page containing Excel attachment links inside table cells using CCMA.
2. Open the migrated page in published/view mode.
3. Compare the attachment rendering with edit mode.

Expected Results

Excel attachments should display as compact links in both modes and remain within table-cell boundaries.

Actual Results

On the production site, published/view mode displays large preview cards that truncate filenames and may overflow narrow table cells. Edit mode displays normal compact links.

Workaround

Re-upload the Excel file to a new page instead of using the attachment from the migrated page.
