Issue Summary
When a user creates a live page via the + icon in the content tree sidebar, the first creation works correctly. However, on the second attempt (without navigating away from the space), clicking the + icon creates two live pages simultaneously instead of one. This behavior persists for all subsequent creation attempts until the user navigates out of the space and back.
Steps to Reproduce
- Step 1 Navigate to any space in Confluence Cloud
- Step 2 Click the + icon in the content tree sidebar and select "Live doc" — first live page is created correctly
- Step 3 Without navigating away from the space, click the + icon again and select "Live doc"
- Step 4 Observe: two live pages are created instead of one
Expected Results
One live page is created per + icon click.
Actual Results
Two live pages are created on the second (and subsequent) clicks within the same space session. The issue affects both personal and shared spaces.
Workaround
Navigate away from the space (e.g., to Confluence Home) and return before creating the next live page. This resets the state and the next single creation works correctly.
