Actual Results
The "Collapse Action bar" button present in any Confluence page, is not persistent and is only visible on mouse hover. Moreover, it is only accessible with mouse pointer but not with keyboard or screen reader as the focus does not move on to it.
This makes it difficult for keyboard-only and screen-reader users to access the functionality associated with the mentioned button.
Expected Results
Ensure that all the interactive elements are focusable and operable using a keyboard and screen reader.
Apply the following changes for "Collapse Action bar" button →
- Interactive elements should be available by default or as a part of the tab order.
- As soon as it receives keyboard focus, the mentioned button should be visually available on the page.
- Modify the scripts to ensure the button is operable with both keyboard and mouse.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
