Issue Summary

• When a user adds links to two images placed on separate lines or within the same line, the editor sanitizes the content upon saving, transforming the images into inline-media-image nodes, which prevents editing of image properties such as alignment, size, and Alt Text.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Add a new image to a Confluence page.
2. Apply a link to the image.
3. Add a second image beneath or side by side and add a link.
4. Publish the page.
5. Observe that the images are converted into inline media images and are no longer editable.

Expected Results

• Linked images should remain as standard editable media nodes with their image properties intact.

Actual Results

• The images are converted to inline-media-image nodes, which disables the standard image editing toolbar.

Workaround

• Maintain an additional new line between images will prevent the images from changing to inline-media-image nodes
