Issue Summary
Site-level analytics in Confluence Cloud includes a "Search" tab showing most popular searches, search volume, users searched, and click-through rate. However, space-level analytics does not include any search data. Space admins and knowledge base owners have no visibility into what users are searching for within their space. This makes it impossible to:
- Identify missing content specific to the space
- Understand what language/terminology users expect
- Troubleshoot discoverability issues at the space level
- Measure whether space content is meeting user needs This gap is especially painful for teams managing large knowledge bases (e.g. internal documentation, customer-facing help centers backed by Confluence).
Suggested Solution
Add a "Search" tab to Space Analytics (mirroring the existing site-level Search tab) that shows: - Most popular searches performed within the space - Number of searches and users searched - Click-through rate per search term - Searches with zero click-through (indicating content gaps) This would allow space admins to take action on content gaps without needing site admin access.
Use Case
As a Confluence space admin managing a knowledge base, I want to see what users are searching for in my space, so that I can create missing content, improve page titles/labels for discoverability, and measure whether my space is serving users effectively.
