Issue Summary
There is a issue when interacting with checkboxes directly on published Confluence pages in View mode. When users attempt to check or uncheck checkboxes without entering Edit mode, the selections automatically revert to their previous state within a few seconds. The page unexpectedly scrolls back to a prior position, requiring users to repeatedly reapply their checkbox selections.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new Confluence page containing a table with multiple checkboxes.
- Publish the page.
- Remain in View mode (do not open the page in Edit mode).
- Click to check or uncheck one or more checkboxes on the published page.
- Wait a few seconds and observe the behaviour.
Expected Results
Checkbox selections should persist immediately upon clicking. The page should remain at the current scroll position without jumping or reverting any user interactions.
Actual Results
The page unexpectedly scrolls/jumps back to a prior position. The most recently toggled checkboxes automatically revert to their previous state after a few seconds.
Workaround
As a workaround, open the page in Edit mode, update the checkboxes as needed, and publish the page. All changes made through this workflow are saved correctly and persist as expected.
