Summary
As a Confluence Cloud user/admin, I would like the ability users would like to have the ability to disable the "First Ever View" notification email that is sent to content creators when their page or blog receives its first view.
Problem
Currently, Confluence Cloud sends a one-time email notification to content creators when their page/blog is viewed for the first time (the "First Ever View Notification Email"). There is no option in user notification preferences or admin settings to disable this notification. For users who create many pages or prefer minimal email notifications, this creates unwanted inbox noise.
This feature was introduced/announced in Atlassian Cloud changes (Jun 1 to Jun 8, 2026) under Confluence: "Notification emails for first page views":

Request
Provide a user-level preference (and optionally a site-admin-level toggle) to disable the "First Ever View" notification email:
- A toggle under Personal Notification Preferences (e.g., "Notify me when my page is viewed for the first time")
- An admin-level setting to disable the feature site-wide
Use Case
- Users who create high volumes of pages receive excessive notifications they cannot suppress
- Organizations that prefer lean notification settings want to turn off non-critical emails
- Users who have already established their workflow do not find these notifications actionable
