      Summary

Users may want to update Jira macros that point to a specific Jira project/space from a Jira instance configured as an application link.

      Scenario

      • Confluence contains a Jira macro from projects located on Jira site A
      • Jira project/space ABC is migrated from Jira site A to Jira site B.
      • Confluence Cloud Jira macros that were pointing to project ABC on Jira site A are now broken.
      • Confluence Cloud Jira macros that were pointing to project DEF (which was not migrated) are still working from Jira site A.
      • Confluence Cloud has application links to both Jira A and Jira B.

      Current Behavior

Running the Jira Macro Repair tool will update all Jira macros that originally pointed to source A. This will fix macros pointing to the migrated project ABC, but it will break macros pointing to project DEF.

      Suggested Solution/Behavior

Jira Macro Repair tool should filter for the specific Jira project on the Jira site. This would essentially be a scoped Jira filter functionality within the Jira Macro Repair tool.
