Issue Summary
Automatic conversion of the legacy Jira Issues macro to Smart Link List View changes the column order, column widths and overall formatting within Jira tables in existing macros, resulting in broken page layouts and reduced readability across multiple Confluence pages.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a Confluence page where the automatic conversion from the legacy Jira Issues macro to Smart Link List View has occurred.
- Navigate to the page history and identify the version before the conversion.
- Compare the Jira table layout between the current version and the previous version.
- Observe changes in column order, column widths, and overall table formatting/layout.
Expected Results
The automatic conversion should preserve:
- Existing column order
- Column widths/layout
Actual Results
After conversion:
- Column ordering changes
- Layout formatting differs from the original configuration
- Page readability is negatively impacted
- No bulk rollback or bulk remediation option is available
Workaround
As a workaround, affected pages can be restored individually to a version prior to the automatic conversion by using the Confluence page history feature. This allows reverting the changes introduced by the conversion on a page-by-page basis.
