Issue Summary

PDF Export fails to render images inside Synced Block macros — images show as "Preview Unavailable"

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Confluence page with one or more images placed directly on the page (along with images inside sync block macro).
2. Add a Synced Block to the page.
3. Insert one or more images inside the Excerpt or Synced Block.
4. Export the page as PDF (via ⋯ > Export to PDF or Space Export > PDF).

Expected Results

All images on the page should render correctly in the exported PDF, including images inside Synced Block macros.

Actual Results

• ✅ Images placed directly on the page render correctly in the PDF.

• ❌ Images inside Synced Block macros fail to render and display as "Preview Unavailable".

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
