Issue Description:
The site-level Analytics Permissions page (/wiki/analytics/permissions) becomes unresponsive and eventually times out on tenants with a large number of groups. After loading for several minutes, an error message is displayed and the page requires a full reload. This prevents admins from viewing or modifying analytics permission settings.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to a Confluence Cloud site that has a large number of groups (e.g., 10,000+)
- Go to Analytics → Permissions (/wiki/analytics/permissions)
- Wait for the page to load
- Attempt to add or remove group permissions
Expected Result:
The page loads within a reasonable time and allows admins to manage analytics permissions without errors.
Actual Result:
The page hangs during loading, eventually displays an error message, and requires a reload. No permission changes can be saved.
Impact:
- Site admins are unable to manage analytics permissions via the UI
- No public REST API is available as an alternative workaround
- Affects any tenant with a sufficiently large number of groups
Workaround:
- Attempt to remove permissions in small batches (a few groups at a time) before the page times out
- If that fails, backend intervention is required to clear the stored restrictions
