In the new editor, video attachments are automatically rendered as large, running previews. While this is helpful for some, it is not ideal for users who rely on Confluence as a video repository, as these previews consume significant screen space and create clutter.

Currently, if users opt for a standard attachment link, the system defaults to a forced download rather than allowing a simple, inline preview. We need a solution similar to how images and documents are handled, providing a compact inline display option that doesn't overwhelm the page.
