Current Behavior:

When editing a Confluence page that contains multiple layout macros, especially with text and images inside them, the content exhibits noticeable shifting and blinking. Layout sections dynamically resize and reposition when hovered over, causing text and images to move or flicker. This behavior is more prominent when more column layouts are used.

 

Expected Behavior:

In edit mode, layout sections and their content should remain visually stable after the initial render. Text and images should not shift or flicker during editing, and sufficient space should be reserved to prevent reflows. The editing experience should be smooth and consistent, even for pages with multiple column layout macros.
