Confluence Databases: Media preview fails with “We couldn’t load this content”

      Issue Summary

      Inline previews for files/images stored in a “Media and Files” field in Confluence Databases do not render.
      Users see “We couldn’t load this content.”

      The browser console reports “No MediaClient set, use MediaClientProvider or MediaProvider to set one,” and network requests attempt to fetch media via /media-api on the site domain receives 404.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new Database;
      2. Add a column/field of type “Media and Files.”
      3. Upload an image to a record;
      4. View the database grid.

      Expected Results

      The image/file renders an inline preview (thumbnail/card) and opens in the media viewer when clicked.

      Actual Results

      • Inline preview area shows: “We couldn’t load this content.”
      • Clicking opens the media viewer .

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
