Current Problem:
When IP allowlisting is enabled to restrict access to Jira and Confluence, users accessing via mobile apps outside the allowed IP range can still see "Notification titles" in the notification bell icon list. Although they cannot open the full content, the title itself may contain sensitive information (e.g., issue summaries or project names), leading to a potential data leak risk.
Suggested Solution:
Provide an option to completely hide or disable the notification list/titles for users who are accessing from non-allowed IP addresses. Ideally, the notification bell should show "Access Restricted" or be empty when the user's IP is not on the allowlist.
Workaround:
There is no direct workaround to hide only the notification titles while keeping other functions restricted by IP. The only current way is to attempt to block the mobile app access entirely using Atlassian Guard MAM policies, which is not a granular control for notifications.
