      Issue Summary

Unchecking the “Comments on a page” event from Confluence (Space Settings > Integrations > Slack Notifications or Page options > Apps > Slack Notifications) does not update the Slack subscription. Slack continues to send notifications for new comments.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Install and connect the Confluence Cloud app in Slack.
      2. Subscribe a Slack channel to a Confluence space (or a specific page).
      3. Add a comment on a non-restricted page to confirm Slack notifications are working.
      4. In Confluence, go to Space Settings > Integrations > Slack Notifications (or from a page: Page options > Apps > Slack Notifications).
      5. Edit the subscription and uncheck “Comments on a page” Save.
      6. Add another comment on a non-restricted page.

      Expected Results

No Slack notification is sent for the new comment.

      Actual Results

Slack still posts a notification for the new comment. The Slack subscription appears to retain “Comments on a page” as enabled despite being unchecked in Confluence.

      Workaround

      • In Slack, run /connect list.
      • Open the affected subscription and edit it.
      • Ensure “Comments on a page” is unchecked and click Done.
      • Slack confirms the subscription was updated; comment notifications stop.

      Notes

      • Issue occurs whether the subscription is edited from Space Settings or from a page.
