Issue Summary
Sharepoint Smart Links fail to resolve with a forbidden authorisation error despite the Sharepoint user account having access to the Sharepoint file. The user must open the Sharepoint link inside of Sharepoint first, before the authorisation passes.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Word, Excel or PowerPoint file in Sharepoint online/Office365
- Share the file with an account or group of accounts/policy
- Copy the link to the clipboard
- Copy the link into a Confluence page
- Set the link display to “Embed”
- You see the file embedded
- Ask another Atlassian user to open this Confluence Page and view the embed/link
Expected Results
The second Atlassian user can resolve the smart link and view the data
Actual Results
The Sharepoint smart link does not resolve, and shows a forbidden access error.
Workaround
Second Atlassian user must open the Sharepoint file in Sharepoint first, then try resolve the smart link again.
