Extend CQL to Fully Support Space Search (Labels/Categories and Type=Space)

Confluence’s CQL (Confluence Query Language) currently has no first-class support for searching spaces.

      • The label field only returns pages/content with a given label and does not allow fetching spaces by space label or category.
      • The type field does not support space as a filterable type, so it is impossible to run CQL queries that return only spaces matching specific criteria.
Extending CQL to support space-level search (including labels/categories and a type = space filter) would enable powerful, consistent, and centralized querying across content and spaces, which is especially important for admins and power users.
