      Current Problem:
Currently, when a user with Jira Service Management (JSM) customer permissions (but without Confluence user permissions) tries to use the global search in Confluence, they receive the error message:
“We’re having trouble getting your result.”

This occurs even when the JSM project is configured to allow “all logged-in users” to access Confluence. While this behavior is by design, the error message is misleading and may give users the impression that there is a product malfunction.

      Suggested Solution:
Instead of displaying the generic error message, show a more informative message such as:
“You do not have Confluence user permissions, so the search functionality is not available.”
This will clarify the situation for users and reduce confusion.

      Workaround:
Currently, there is no workaround to change the error message. Users without Confluence user permissions will always see the generic error when attempting to use the search feature.
