Exporting PDF on Confluence Cloud Ignores Title Layout Content

XMLWordPrintable

    • Severity 3 - Minor

      Issue Summary

When exporting a space to PDF in Confluence Cloud, the customized Title layout content is not included in the exported PDF. The space PDF layout is being applied (for example, custom Header content appears as expected). Still, any content added to the Title section is always ignored, even when using simple inline HTML without any stylesheet.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to the space in Confluence Cloud.
      2. Next to your space's name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.
      3. Open the Look and Feel menu and select PDF export.
      4. Add HTML to customize the Title, Header, and/or Footer fields.
      5. Select Save.
      6. In the same space go to Space settings > General section > Export Space > PDF > Selected content (1–3 pages) > Export Space button.

      Expected Results

The content configured in the Title layout for PDF exports should appear at the beginning of the exported PDF, as described in the official documentation: Customize layout for PDF exports in Confluence Cloud

      Actual Results

The Title layout content does not appear in the exported PDF. Only the Header and other layout sections are rendered, while the Title section is omitted entirely.

      Workaround

No effective workaround has been identified. The Title layout content can't be displayed in the exported PDF, which is impacting the migration from Confluence Data Center to Cloud.
