Issue Summary
The Recent Updates macro intermittently fails to display recently updated pages, even though:
- The page has been successfully updated and published
- The viewing user has full access to the page
- The macro is configured to show All Content Types (Pages, Blogs, Comments, etc.)
This issue occurs randomly and does not affect all pages.
Steps to Reproduce
- Update and publish a Confluence page.
- Navigate to another page that contains the Recent Updates macro.
- Configure the macro to:
-
- Show All content types
-
- No restrictive filters (or relevant space selected)
- Refresh the page containing the macro.
Expected Results
The recently updated page should appear in the Recent Updates macro results immediately (or within normal indexing delay).
Actual Results
Intermittently, some updated pages:
- Do not appear in the Recent Updates macro
- Even though:
-
- Users can directly access the page
-
- The page appears in search
-
- Permissions are correctly configured
Issue appears random and inconsistent.
