Issue Summary
When accessing a Confluence Cloud site via a mobile browser, users are repeatedly prompted to download the Confluence app, even if it is already installed. This persistent prompt disrupts the user experience.
Steps to Reproduce
- Access a Confluence Cloud site using a mobile browser (e.g., https://atl-test.atlassian.net/wiki).
- Observe the prompt regarding the Confluence app.
Expected Results
- Users should be given a choice upon first login, with an option to remember their selection.
- There should be a setting where users can later change this preference.
- If the app is already installed, the primary option should be "Open Confluence app" instead of prompting for download.
Actual Results
- The page displays two options: "Get the app today" and "Continue to mobile app"
- The prompt to download the Confluence app continues to appear, even when the app is already installed.
- This behavior negatively affects the user experience.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
