Summary

Currently, Confluence Cloud does not provide a way for users or administrators to receive notifications specifically when a new page is created from a template (either a global or space template). This makes it difficult for template owners or space admins to track the usage and adoption of templates, or to be alerted when important process-driven pages (such as meeting notes, project kickoffs, or incident reports) are created.

Proposed Solution

Introduce a functionality that allows users to receive notifications (in-app, email, or via integrations) when a page is created from a specific template, both global and space templates, including the template name in the notification for context.

Introducing a feature that notifies users when a page is created from a specific template improves visibility into template usage and process adherence, reporting, auditing, and compliance for regulated workflows.
