      Issue Summary

When a table is inserted into a newly created, empty Confluence page, the table cell edit controls do not appear. As a result, users are unable to access cell-related actions such as changing cell background colors. The controls only become available after adding a second table to the page, which is inconsistent with expected behavior and impacts basic table editing.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new Confluence page.
      1. Add a table to the page.

      Expected Results

When the cursor is placed inside the table, the table cell edit controls (arrow control) should appear, allowing users to perform actions such as formatting cells.

      Actual Results

The table cell edit controls are not shown for the first table added to an empty page.

      Workaround

Add a second table on the page or

Double click anywhere outside the table
