      Issue Summary

in current revision HTML import supports only limited functionalities, basically importing text with some styling modifications: no attachments (including images), no page hierarchy, no DBs etc.

The HTML importer is a beta feature that allows to import arbitrary content as best as it can and it has many limitations. For migration type of flows users need to use cloud to cloud migrations or import / export spaces

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Export confluence page to HTML
      2. Import this HTML using HTML import feature.

      Expected Results

      Import is successful.

      Actual Results

      Pages are appearing empty.

      Workaround

Either use .docx for pages or csv for space import.

There is no direct option in Confluence to automatically convert HTML to Confluence-accepted content.

      • For standard content conversion, you need to manually copy and paste the HTML as plain text and then use Confluence's editor to format it.
      • Or use third-party tools or plugins designed for HTML-to-Confluence conversion such as "HTML for Confluence".
