      Issue Summary

If you upload a large image on a page that has its width set to Max, then the images uploaded to fit the max width. But if you try to resize that image at all than the image size is set to the Wide width and cannot be set any higher.

Example of an image that was uploaded while the page is max width

Where the change width setting is:

      • On a page that can be edited
      • Above the Title of the Confluence page
      • The button labelled "Adjust width" opens a dropdown to set the width of the page

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. On a max width page
      2. Upload a large image to the page
      3. Click on the resize handler for the image

      Expected Results

      • Should be able to resize the image between the Max width and the Wide width

      Actual Results

      • The image is set to the Wide width and cannot be made any bigger

      Workaround

      • Images can be added at Max width by uploading them and not touching the resize handler, when the page is saved the image is the correct (Max) width in the View Page
      • Images cannot be resized between Wide and Max width
