Allow browser translation tools to translate third‑party macro content (e.g. Aura, Karma) in Confluence Cloud.

In Confluence Cloud, third‑party apps run in sandboxed iframes, so browser translators (like Chrome “Translate”) can’t access or translate their content, unlike on Data Center.
This is a platform‑level behavior and creates a regression for global teams who rely on browser translation for app‑rendered content.

      • Third‑party macro content (Aura, Karma, etc.) in Cloud is isolated in sandboxed iframes.
      • Browser translation tools only translate native Confluence content, not app‑rendered content.
      • This behavior affects all third‑party apps and can’t be disabled per app/space today.

Request: A platform solution that safely enables browser translation of third‑party macro content, restoring parity with Data Center.

Extending translation capabilities should also enable assistants (such as Rovo) to access and translate third‑party macro content where possible, not just browser‑based translation.
