As admins and auditors, we need reliable audit logging for Confluence Whiteboards equivalent to what exists for pages and databases.

      • Currently, the “Viewed Confluence whiteboard” activity appears as a filter option in the audit log UI, but no corresponding events are written, so it’s impossible to report on who viewed which whiteboard and when.
      • We request that whiteboard view events be fully implemented and recorded in both Atlassian Administration audit logs and Confluence product audit logs, honoring plan‑level audit log entitlements.
      • Additionally, we request a new “Whiteboard exporting” audit event to track when and by whom a specific whiteboard was exported, to satisfy Data Protection and compliance requirements.
      • This capability is business‑critical for customers migrating from third‑party whiteboarding tools (e.g. Mural → Confluence Whiteboards) and is required to respond to Data Protection team audit inquiries.
