Problem
When viewing Content activity in Confluence Cloud Analytics for a space and sorting by the Last modified column, the list of pages is not ordered correctly by the last modification time.
This prevents users from reliably seeing the most recently updated content in a space.
Environment
Confluence Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Log in to Confluence cloud on an affected site
- Navigate to a space.
- Open the Space Analytics > Content
- In the content list, click on the Last modified column header to sort by last modified date/time.
- Compare the order of the pages with their displayed last modified timestamps.
Expected Results
When sorting by Last modified:
- The content list is ordered strictly by the last modified timestamp (either ascending or descending, depending on sort direction).
- Pages with more recent last modification timestamps appear consistently at the top when sorting in descending order.
- No items appear out of order relative to their shown last modified time.
Actual Results
When sorting by Last modified:
- The list shows pages out of chronological order.
- Items with older last modified timestamps can appear above items with more recent timestamps.
- The visible order does not match the dates/times displayed in the Last modified column.
Workaround
Export the Analytics export and review the existing list using an external tool, like Excel, for example.
