Problem
A recent change in Space Analytics (Content Activity) introduced automatic sorting by views.
This adjustment now excludes pages with no views in the past year from the "All time" export, making it impossible to retrieve a complete list of all pages in a space.
This impacts customers who rely on the export for comprehensive content analysis, especially in workflows affected by the "Inactive Pages" automation issue (CONFCLOUD-83329).
Environment
Confluence Cloud - Space Analytics (Content Activity)
Change observed in the past few days; behavior was different a few weeks ago.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to Space Analytics (Content Activity) in any Confluence Cloud space.
- Select the "All time" option for content activity.
- Attempt to export the data as CSV.
- Compare the exported list to the actual list of all pages in the space.
Expected Results
All pages in the space, regardless of view count or activity, are included in the "All time" export as CSV.
Actual Results
Pages with no views in the past year are excluded from the "All time" export, resulting in an incomplete CSV file.
Workaround
No effective workaround available. Manual identification and export of missing pages is not feasible for large spaces.
Notes
This change negatively affects customers who need a full inventory of space content, particularly for automation and compliance purposes. The previous behavior allowed for complete exports, which is essential for managing inactive content and related automations.
