      Issue Summary

      • CJK characters in Jira work items intermittently returns garbled text, “�”, on Firefox

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a few Jira work items with CJK characters.
      2. Add them into any page in Confluence.
      3. View the page in Firefox;
        1. Some characters in the Jira work item will be displayed as “�”.
        2. Refresh the page, and these characters appear randomly, and intermittently, on different Jira work items.
      4. View the page in any Chromium based browsers;
        • The issue is not seen.

      Expected Results

      • All CJK characters in the Jira work item should be returned as they appear in Jira.

      Actual Results

      • Some CJK characters are randomly, and intermittently returned as “�”.

      Workaround

      • Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
