Background

Currently, when the option "Prevent users from sharing, saving or backing up data to their devices" is enabled within the org's Mobile App Policies, users are not able to access external links via Confluence Mobile Apps.

According to internal discussion, this is expected behavior.

Suggestion

This entry asks for the possibility of enabling the access of external sites via the Confluence Mobile App while this policy is enabled. If not by default, provide an additional setting to either allow all or a selective list of links.
