Currently, Confluence pages often accumulate duplicate or unused attachments over time, leading to unnecessary storage bloat. While the existing feature allows users to choose whether to copy attachments during page duplication, there is currently no automated mechanism to clean up attachments that are not linked or used by any page.

      Proposed Solution: # Attachment Scan:

•Implement a tool that scans all pages within a space to detect attachments.
      • Identify which attachments are actively linked and which are orphaned. # User Interface:

•Provide an intuitive UI within Confluence for admins to review and manage these attachments.
      • Include a summary report of orphaned attachments and their usage status. # Cleanup Functionality:

•Enable admins to select and delete orphaned attachments in bulk.
      • Provide safety checks and confirmation prompts to prevent accidental deletions.

      Benefits:
      • Optimizes storage and enhances performance.
      • Helps maintain a cleaner, more efficient Confluence environment.

      Considerations:
      • Ensure the tool is scalable for large spaces.
      • Balance usability so that it’s simple for admins but effective in cleanup.
