Issue Summary
When editing Confluence pages using the new UI of the editor, text previously highlighted in yellow is now mapped to orange in the new editor. This causes confusion, as the highlight appears yellow in the editor but is exported or rendered as orange. Additionally, there is no distinct orange highlight icon, making it difficult to differentiate between yellow and orange highlights.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a Confluence page created using the existing editor that contains text highlighted in yellow.
- Edit the page using the new version of the editor.(its a new release slowly rolling out for the customers)
- Observe the highlight color in the editor (appears yellow).
- Export the page using a third-party app (e.g., Scroll PDF Exporter) or inspect the highlight color mapping in the editor’s color picker.
Expected Results
- Text highlighted as yellow in the exiting editor should remain yellow in the new editor and in exports.
- The orange highlight should have a distinct color icon and be displayed as orange, not yellow.
- Users should be able to clearly distinguish between yellow and orange highlights in both the editor and exports.
Actual Results
- yellow highlights are mapped to orange in the new editor, causing a mismatch between the displayed and exported colors.
- The orange highlight does not have a distinct icon and is displayed as yellow, leading to confusion.
- Users cannot reliably differentiate between yellow and orange highlights.
