Problem: Inline bodied macros are supported in Confluence DC and in the Confluence Cloud legacy editor but are currently not supported in the Cloud editor. When a page gets converted from the legacy to the Cloud editor, any inline bodied macro with rich text gets rendered as a block macro, instead of inline.

Solution: Support inline bodied macros in the Cloud editor, including support for Forge inline bodied macros.
