      Issue Summary

Refresh’ link in Jira legacy macro intermittently fails to update results on Confluence legacy editor pages

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create or open a Confluence page using the legacy editor.
      2. Add a Jira legacy macro displaying a list of issues.
      3. Publish the page.
      4. Click the “Refresh” link below the Jira issue list.
      5. Observe whether the page updates to reflect the latest Jira issue data.

(Note: Inconsistent results are more likely when navigating between pages containing Jira legacy macros, or when opening a page that already has the macro on load.)

      Expected Results

Clicking the “Refresh” link should consistently trigger the macro to reload and display the latest issue data from Jira.

      Actual Results

The “Refresh” link often fails to respond — no visible action or update occurs. In some instances, after retrying or refreshing the Confluence page, the macro updates successfully. Behavior appears intermittent.

      Workaround

      We observed partial success by:

      • Navigating from a page without the Jira legacy macro to one with the macro before clicking “Refresh.”
      • Copying the affected page content into a new page and reattempting the refresh.

However, the issue can still intermittently occur, so results are not consistent.
