Issue Summary
When performing a search in Confluence, setting a custom date range works normally if you copy and paste the search URL into other tabs. However, if the contributor field is also selected, the search URL loses its reference, resulting in an empty date range.
Steps to Reproduce
Go to Confluence → Search
Fill in Last Updated field: from 01/10/2025 to 31/10/2025, click Update
Fill in Contributor field
Copy URL and paste URL in new tab:
Expected behaviour: results from 01/10/2025 to 31/10/2025 for selected contributor must show
Observed behaviour: date filter is reset, all results are shown
Suggested Solution
Enhance the search functionality to include all parameters present in the URL, ensuring consistency when sharing custom search links.
Why This Is Important
This improvement is crucial for creating a cohesive product experience, allowing users to share custom search links with others and across different tabs without losing search criteria.
Expected Results
results from 01/10/2025 to 31/10/2025 for selected contributor must show
Actual Results
search with empty date range in the new tab
