Problem
The Smartlink doesn't render correctly in the converted panel macro with the selected display option, but as the plaintext link.
Environment
Confluence Cloud editor
Steps to Reproduce
- Create/select a page with the legacy editor
- Insert the panel macro
- Insert a table within the panel macro
- Convert the page to the cloud editor
- When the panel macro contains a table, it is converted to the panel macro in the new editor.
- When the panel macro doesn't contain a table, it is converted to the info panel in the new editor, which renders the smartlink correctly.
- Insert a Smartlink to the converted panel macro that contains a table.
- Select the smartlink's display option (inline, card, embed)
Expected Results
The Smartlink displays/renders with the respective selection option
Actual Results
The Smartlink displays as the plaintext link
Workaround
There isn't any suitable workaround available to enable the converted panel macro to work with the smartlink, as the panel macros in the new editor have yet to support nested tables, as mentioned in the open feature request:
